As a ministry to young people at Mountainview Christian Church, we desire to make God proud, by caring for those He entrusts us with. The foundation of everything we do is based on our 3 S’:

Scripture

We submit to the Bible, God’s Word. We teach from the Bible in a variety of ways, building knowledge of who God is, what He has done and what He is doing today. We desire to give a foundation of Biblical knowledge and teach the practical use of the Bible.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."

Salvation

Salvation is a process ultimately leading to a walk with Christ as a journey. First, we present Jesus as our Savior as we are saved through grace and faith. Next, we experience God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus as an everyday companion.

Service

The Christian life is fun, risky and is filled with adventure. We want to see the world through God’s perspective and realize God is using us to change the world. We will provide opportunities to serve so that we can do our part in being world changers!

From the 3 S’ we’ve developed our ministry belief statements:

•  We believe developing an individuals’ character takes priority over teaching them how to behave.

•  We believe it is essential to provide a fun, safe and secure environment, staffed with trained leaders and willing helpers.

•  We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence, therefore, we desire to make it easier to have spiritual conversations at home.

•  We believe that by teaching young people early on, the importance of service and providing them with age-appropriate opportunities to serve, we can assist parents in raising life-long world changers.
