What is ABF?

ABF is an acronym for Adult Bible Fellowship.

  • A is for Adults: a group for everybody college-age and up, with classes specifically designed for the various stages of life
  • B is for Bible: the very central focus of ABF 
  • F is for Fellowship: building relationships and serving in the Body of Christ

 


Why should I be part of ABF?

ABF is a place where people care for and support one another.  It's an opportunity for you to connect with other believers in a small group setting, share praise and prayer requests, and deepen your understanding of God's word, as we fellowship together! 
 

Bible Study:

Small groups, friendly people, individuals looking for ways to grow in their spiritual lives - this describes our Sunday morning ABF ministry! Our focus on the study of God’s Word and practical application of it to our everyday lives provides encouragement and direction for all those involved.  In-depth Bible teaching with lessons led are led weekly.


Fellowship:

Caring and actively ministering to each other in love with prayer support, meals, cards, etc. when a need arises. Fellowship activities include group breakfasts at Xavier’s,  monthly class activities and a summer retreat at Falls Creek.

Support:

Caring for each other in love and actively ministering with prayer support, meals, cards, etc. when a need arises.

Service:

Class service projects have included: 65 plows and seed at a cost of $440 per unit, to needy farmers in the Sudan. Scarves and beauty items to the Chile Women’s National Convention. Baseball equipment and Scrapbooking material to Ecuador and books for the school in Nairobi, Kenya.
