Connie Marshall is the Facility Manager here at Mountainview and is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the building. Maintaining the health and safety of the building as well as some of the aesthetic decisions requires an enormous amount of humility and intentionality. Connie is a wonderful example of someone that God has chosen to utilize for the benefit of the kingdom. She has dedicated her time and energy to learn and oversee a myriad of mundane details that are necessary to keep the church functional. She has been involved at MV for 17 years, and has served on the Youth Ministry Team, Women’s Ministry Team, and Women’s Leadership/Grow Groups. Coming from a career as a nail technician for 23 years, as well as being involved with various ministries, she understands what it means to love your neighbor with grace and humility. The people here at MV are what she loves most about our church. Her favorite verse is “Be still and know I am God” (Psalm 46:10), which serves as a reminder that God’s timing is perfect.
Connie was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Gresham in high school. After getting married, she and her husband, Gregg, lived in Ohio, California, Colorado, and eventually came back to Oregon. They have been married for 34 years, and have two grown sons, Jerred (married to Morgan) and Travis (married to Alicia). When she isn’t working, she loves spending time with her granddaughter, Brynnleigh.
