Ilene Wilkens is our Systems Administrative Assistant and is responsible for managing the calendar, room requests, communication cards, building procedures and other administrative tasks. She managed billing and coding in a chiropractic clinic for 13 years. She loves people, and she loves Jesus. Her goal is to bring honor to God by using the gifts He has given her for administration and for creating clarity out of chaos. She loves the people and the leadership here at Mountainview. Her favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 23, especially the Passion Translations, and her favorite quote is: “Build a bridge and get over it”.
Ilene has lived in Gresham since the late 70’s and graduated from Gresham High School in 1982. She has been married to her husband, Phil, since June of 2000. Between the two of them, there are 5 kids, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Although they come from different faith backgrounds, their love for God has grown and brought them together in their faith. They have been blessed to be a part of MV since March of 2019. Ilene was encouraged by Tom to use the administrative and interpersonal skills that God gave her to build the kingdom in practical ways.
