Just as we exchange gifts on Christmas morning, Jesus invites us to exchange our burdens of doubt, fear, worry, and despair with the blessings of trust, joy, peace, and hope. We see these blessings and burdens all throughout the Christmas story. These gifts that we receive are reflections of the greatest gift of all, Jesus.

The Giving Tree provides an opportunity to serve families in our local community. Each year at Christmas we partner with Highland Elementary and Gresham Arthur Academy by purchasing gifts for kids and then offer dignity by inviting the parents to shop at our "gift store", pick out a book and then wrap them up before taking them home.
There are two ways you can participate in this amazing opportunity. You can pick out some gift tags from the Giving Tree from November 17-26 and bring them back by December 8th If you can't get to the trees in person, there are some limited book fair tags available online. You can also volunteer December 12 or 13 for one of the parent shopping nights.
